Day #14 | The moment I realized Peter was in love with Olivia
There are obviously other moments where Peter lets his emotions express through himself, but in my opinion, the first two gifs and the last two gifs are moments when I just knew Peter was sure of what he wanted and how he felt towards Olivia. There are small gestures, like the hug in Bad Dreams and the adorable ‘Brother?’ comment in Safe, along side with the card scene that ticks the audience’s attention that he’s into Olivia. In my opinion though, that’s just a build up — the look in his face in 2x01 while she’s lying there in the hospital bed and the way he lets out his ‘Goodbye, Olivia’ just kills. In his description of his Olivia in 2x23, I don’t think he was being callous. Darker and haunted is exactly what Olivia is and these are qualities that he’s fallen in love with. Moreover, I don’t think you can deny that he misses her by the look in his eyes when he lets out those statements. He’s a lost puppy there.
